Challenge: Safeguarding customers against devastating downtime

Elevate’s business model is built around providing customers with unparalleled uptime and business continuity. Yet achieving these critical parameters can be an ongoing challenge, considering the host of threats amid today’s network environment. The company needed a partner who could provide complete, end-to-end power protection solutions.

“People sometimes forget about power. But you can’t have security if you don’t have power.”

Geoff Turner, Elevate CEO

Solution: Providing the solutions clients need to maintain business continuity

Eaton’s strong, proven engineering presence was one of the factors that attracted Elevate to the partnership. With access to Eaton’s extensive line of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), including 9PX9PXM5P and 5PX, Elevate is able to easily customize the optimal solution for each particular client.

In addition to UPSs, Elevate takes advantage of Eaton’s broad range of complementary products to supply its customers with comprehensive solutions. This includes monitoring and switched rack PDUs, rack enclosures such as RS Enclosure and MiniRaQ, and connectivity devices such as the Environmental Monitoring Probe (EMP) Gen 2 and Gigabit Network Card. The industry’s first card to meet both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, the Gigabit Network Card also improves business continuity and satisfies compliance issues.

Elevate also offers its clients a monitoring service using all licenses of Eaton Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) software. With a wide ranging, real-time view of network conditions, Elevate is able to assess all of the information IPM provides through its extensive reporting capabilities—from power quality alerts to firmware updates to security requirements.

Last, the service provider enjoys further benefits under Eaton’s PowerAdvantage Partner Program, including ongoing, consistent support from a knowledgeable Eaton team.
