Equipment protection

POD enclosures protect equipment from physical and environmental conditions found in factories, warehouses and other edge locations.

Hassle-Free Transport and Positioning

Enclosures are robust enough to be transported on a flatbed truck
They arrive on-site ready to be populated, connected and powered
Included metal casters help you move the enclosures into their permanent position

Simple Maintenance Access

Access to equipment is easy through the enclosures’ removable, locking side panels
The cooling units’ filters are user-replaceable with readily available standard-size filters from any local hardware store

Remote monitoring and management

Built-in network interface card enables remote monitoring and control through HTTPS and SNMP
Integration with Distributed IT Performance Manager (DITPM) and our Remote Monitoring Service, part of the Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite.

Optimized thermal management

The slim cooling systems provide predictable and reliable high-density cooling. Pre-installed in the cooling enclosures, the precision cooling units are positioned to optimize thermal management with side or front air discharge, depending on how many cooling units are in the configuration. A pre-installed network card enables remote access.

Side air discharge

Configurations with one cooling unit

Cooling unit is installed towards the front of the cooling enclosure. Cold air flows to the sides and enters the IT rack enclosures, forming a closed-loop cooling system.

Front air discharge

Configurations with multiple cooling units

Cooling units are installed toward the middle of the cooling enclosures, creating a hot aisle and a cold aisle. Cold air floods the front plenum and is diverted to each side and into the IT rack enclosures.
